Overview of IBARA Junior Chamber,Inc.

IBARA Junior Chamber is an organisation for young people between the ages of 20-40 is committed to leadership, development and fellowship and there are 60 members. These are achieved through training courses and projects which are conducted in the community.

IBARA Junior Chamber is one of a number of local chapters in Japan Juniro Chamber,Inc.It was approved as the 235th LOM of JC in Japan on March 9, 1963. And it belongs to Okayama Bloc. Major activity area is Ibara-city, Yoshii-town, Bisei-town, Yakage-town, and area population is about 66,000. Each chapter has local meetings once a month and then meets with members from other chapters twice a year. The first meeting was held in Kyoto in January, The Second meeting is referred to as National Convention and is held in October. This year it was held in Nagano(1996).

It is the opaque situation, and environment to surround us rises still even if refrains from the 21st century near at hand.

In this turm, we think whether we should accomplish that we create "the bright rich community" for the purpose of our Junior Chamber, and now doesn't come in the time.

I think; we return how we do it, and what we should turn into that purpose, to the starting point again once now and think when a review, restructuring of projects, a member must confirm awareness of each person's responsibility from a step.

So I declared "Again,Starting Point"-From the starting point once now- as our slogan in 1997.

We think when will listen to the voice that they demand what by knowing activity area of oneself (a town), and what is accused at.

And we repeat argument thoroughly in a committee and examine enterprise contents and think that we would like you to move into action for an area.

"a step point" is a thing of confirmation of personal independence and rises.

I think that it reaches result "LD and CD" by the independence that perhaps LOM faces each purpose from microcosm to macroinstruction, and a committee which is that aggregate moves into action.

We made effort by all the members in 1996 and did member expansion activity, but the present situation is very stern.

Our JC must have the 35th anniversary founding in such situation in 1998.

I think that we don't grow if even such a meaning will not wash JC activity again once now from a step.

I seem to have described sentence head it, and environment to surround us thinks strictly now when opaque, but asks for cooperation of ladies and gentlemen in future.

1996 =By the situation that 11 members graduated from in 1996, we did member expansion around two committees, but the member of new enrollment provided was 4 inconsiderably.
