Only three regions in Japan posess a tradition of utilising red rice, they include Soja in Okayama Prefecture, Tsushima in Nagasaki Prefecture and Tanegashima in Kagoshima Prefecture. We are a Brewery
A traditional Sake - Tokiwazuru. A Sake as old as the town Soja - Kibiji. A Sake which ties together an ancient bouquet and the essence of tomorrow's Sake - Kamiyo.
We brew a mixed drink base known as 'Akagome Cocktail' and we are open to any suggestions regarding new drinks using Sake. Don't hesitate to inform us of your new Sake cocktail!

■Outline of our Sake
'Akagome' is unmilled rice which appears red due to the colour of the husk. More recently, this rice is recognised as the unpolished rice used in 'sekihan'(red rice for auspicious occasions). Even today, the rice offered to the Gods at Soja's Kokushi Shrine is the same as the Akagome rice we use in our Sake brewing.
■Event
We hold concerts in our Sake Brewery and we also hold 'mochitsuki'(pound steamed rice into cake) parties.
We can send our products to you by courier or normal mail.
Note: Though some companies may be able to take enquiries and orders in a foreign language, some companies may find it difficult to respond to enquiries not made in Japanese. Furthermore, as there are government regulations restricting the export of Sake, orders made by an individual for small amounts cannot be filled.
