The Suiho Brewery was used as a shelter by the lead actor in the Shohei Imamura directed movie classic 'Black Rain'. Such is the scenic beauty of our grounds. When one gazes out from the entrance hall, one is greeted by the picturesque expanse of the Inland Sea. The Brewery was constructed in 1890, and for the past 20 years we have successfully competed in Okayama's Prefectural Sake competition, winning various prizes for the quality of our Sake. Acknowledging the traditional fundamentals of Japanese Sake, we brew the very best 'home-made' style Sake. We are waiting for your orders!

OUTLINE
Using steamed rice we produce malt by hand, which over a period of time develops into a rice-malt-yeast culture. This basic ingredient for producing Sake is then left to mature in casks. We meticulously brew our Sake using the freshest air, the cleanest water and highly polished rice.
Note: Though some companies may be able to take enquiries and orders in a foreign language, some companies may find it difficult to respond to enquiries not made in Japanese. Furthermore, as government regulations restrict the export of Sake, orders made by an individual for small amounts cannot be filled.
