The media has become the heartbeat of the world making it possible to deliver the latest information instantly, with the print media continuing to play a central role in this. Since our first publication was printed in 1910, we have worked to the motto "Clearly reporting both right and wrong in a non-biased, non-partisan way, treating all news as equal, therefore contributing to developments in local culture." Words cannot describe how grateful we are to all those people who have helped us to become the newspaper we are today. There are consatnt changes within the media, and in order for us to survive, "regionalism and localizsation", we must adapt and be aware of these reforms and changes occuring socially and regionally. In order to do this, we have included a "Lifestyle Information" section to meet the social needs of our readers. The term "Interactive" refers not just to the use of digital media. OUTLINE
Our first publication was published in 1910, and while carrying out our daily duty as an organ of the mass media for the northern part of Okayama prefecture, we have also branched out into the commercial printing business. Throughout the trials and tribulations of modernising our equipment and updating our technology, we gratefully received the support and assistance of many of the regions people, and from now on we aim to provide a service that is always ahead of the times. Through the development and accumulation of original technology, we hope also to branch out into new specialist fields.
